Cairo to Host Society of Actuaries 2025 Regional Symposium on September 28–29

The Society of Actuaries (SOA), the world’s largest actuarial professional organization, announced it will host the 2025 SOA Regional Symposium on September 28–29, 2025, at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo. The event is held under the auspices of Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and with the strategic support of the Insurers Federation of Egypt (IFE)
The symposium will bring together actuaries, insurance leaders, financial experts, and academics from across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) to discuss the theme: “The Modern-Day Actuary: Pushing the Boundaries of the Actuarial Profession
The program begins with a networking reception on September 27, followed by two days of keynote addresses, expert panels, and interactive sessions. Discussions will focus on the evolving role of actuaries in tackling global challenges such as climate change, cyber risk, economic volatility, and geopolitical conflicts.
