Egypt’s Construction Sector Gears Up for MEASA $9 Trillion Urban Growth Pipeline

Egyptian and regional construction stakeholders are turning their focus to investment, innovation and public-private collaboration as the Big 5 Global 2025 exhibition and summit in Dubai approaches. The event, taking place 24–27 November at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is expected to draw more than 85,000 professionals and 2,800 exhibitors from over 165 countries.

At the heart of the gathering is the Big 5 Global Leaders’ Summit, which convenes government ministers, CEOs, financiers and development executives to debate leadership in the built-environment, value-creation and resilient infrastructure. Among the confirmed speakers is Waleed Abdel Fattah Ibrahim, President – MENA at Hill International, who will address how collaboration between public and private sectors can accelerate Egypt’s construction growth in line with the national vision.

In the context of massive urban expansion across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region—with a pipeline estimated at over US $9 trillion—Big 5 Global offers a strategic platform for stakeholders targeting Egypt’s economy, investment opportunities and infrastructure transformation.

The liveable-cities agenda will be advanced through the LiveableCitiesX Summit, focusing on smart cities, urban planning, sustainability and innovation, while the Big 5 FutureTech Summit and GeoWorld Summit look at digital transformation, AI, geospatial intelligence and data-driven construction. These sessions reflect the rising regional interest in construction technology, smart infrastructure and investment pipelines.

For Egypt-based developers, financiers and policy-makers, the opportunity lies in leveraging regional megaprojects, supply-chain realignment and collaboration frameworks that link national visions such as Egypt’s New Administrative Capital with global supply chains, technology trends and private-sector investment flows. In short, Big 5 Global stands out as a key event for unlocking growth in Egypt’s built-environment ecosystem.
