Cloudmania, the cloud services arm of Liquid C2 under Cassava Technologies, has been named the 2025 Microsoft Egypt Partner of the Year. The recognition highlights the company’s growing impact in Egypt’s fast-evolving digital transformation landscape—particularly across cloud computing, AI solutions, and enterprise cybersecurity.

The annual Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards spotlight global partners delivering exceptional innovation across Microsoft Cloud, Azure, cybersecurity, and AI products. This year’s competition saw more than 4,600 nominations from over 100 countries, underscoring the scale of Cloudmania’s achievement in the Egyptian market.

Sherif Shaltout, Managing Executive for MENA at Liquid C2, described the award as a pivotal moment for the company’s expansion in Egypt, a market witnessing rapid growth in digital transformation initiatives, enterprise cloud adoption, and AI-driven business solutions.

> “In just one year in Egypt, we have built a strong partner ecosystem focused on delivering cloud and AI solutions that empower businesses and support sustainable digital growth,” Shaltout said. “This award reinforces our position as a preferred distributor for Microsoft technologies and strengthens our commitment to enabling Africa’s digital future.”

Since its entry into Egypt in 2024, Cloudmania has established itself as a channel-first cloud distributor, supporting managed service providers, system integrators, and independent software vendors. Its Startup Accelerator Programme—a key initiative targeting Egypt’s growing tech and entrepreneurship sector—has provided local startups access to Azure cloud tools, training, and go-to-market support.

Microsoft’s Chief Partner Officer, Nicole Dezen, praised the winners for leveraging Microsoft Cloud and AI to drive innovation across global markets.

Cloudmania’s recognition in Egypt follows previous wins in Ethiopia and Côte d’Ivoire, expanding the company’s footprint across Africa and the MENA region. The announcement comes ahead of Microsoft Ignite 2025 in San Francisco, where partners and developers will explore new trends in AI, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise security.

The award aligns with Cassava Technologies’ vision to become a leading provider of digital and cloud solutions across emerging markets, supporting economic growth and digital competitiveness in Africa and the Middle East.
