Turkish Airlines Posts Robust Passenger and Cargo Growth in December 2025

Turkish Airlines has announced solid passenger and cargo traffic results for December 2025, underscoring continued demand across its global network. The flag carrier transported 7.3 million passengers during the month, supported by a 9.2% year-on-year increase in available seat kilometers (ASK) and strong load factors.
According to the airline’s December 2025 traffic data, total load factor reached 82.6%, with international routes recording a load factor of 82.6% and domestic routes 82.7%. The number of international-to-international passengers rose by 14.1%, climbing from 2.8 million in December 2024 to 3.2 million this year.
Capacity expansion continued as ASK increased to 23.3 billion, up from 21.4 billion in the same period of 2024. Cargo operations also delivered strong results, with cargo and mail volumes rising 15.9% year on year to 192.4 thousand tons in December.
Full-Year 2025 Traffic Highlights
For the January–December 2025 period, Turkish Airlines reported sustained growth across key performance indicators:
Total passengers increased by 8.8% year on year to 92.6 million.
International-to-international passengers grew by 12.8%, reaching 35.7 million compared to 31.7 million in 2024.
Overall load factor stood at 83.2%, with international load factor at 82.9% and domestic load factor at 86%.
Available seat kilometers rose by 7.5% to 273.2 billion, up from 254.1 billion the previous year.
Cargo and mail volumes increased by 8.4%, totaling 2.2 million tons.
By the end of December 2025, Turkish Airlines’ fleet expanded to 516 aircraft, supporting its growing passenger and cargo operations.
