Samara Land Transportation Services Co., a subsidiary of Alturki Holding, has announced the launch of electric golf cart assembly manufacturing in Saudi Arabia through a newly established joint venture with Raya Holding, marking a significant step toward localized and sustainable mobility solutions in the Kingdom
The joint venture combines Samara’s strong local market leadership with the manufacturing and electric mobility expertise of Raya Holding, through its mobility arm and portfolio company Raya Auto. The initiative will establish a localized assembly facility, deliver comprehensive after-sales services, and support workforce development across key sectors including hospitality, tourism, construction, and urban development
Designed to meet the growing demand for efficient and environmentally friendly transportation, the project aligns closely with Saudi Vision 2030, supporting industrial localization, technology transfer, and job creation. Production is expected to exceed 3,000 electric golf carts over the next two years, contributing to the Kingdom’s sustainable mobility ecosystem
