KHADAMATY–NEW
The Business Development Service (BDS) Hubs, operating under the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) “NilePreneurs” initiative, have successfully delivered over 1.16 million non-financial and advisory services between 2020 and 2025. These services have benefited approximately 502,000 youth, entrepreneurs, startups, and Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), including 210,000 women, while facilitating access to EGP 19 billion in financing for more than 14,000 projects, with the involvement of 18 participating banks
The services offered by the BDS Hubs include assistance in selecting viable business ideas, company establishment, facilitating registration processes, obtaining necessary licenses, preparing feasibility studies and financial analyses, building credit files, creating connections with suppliers, exploring new markets, and delivering targeted training programs to enhance business capacity and competitiveness
From 2020 to 2025, the BDS Hubs achieved significant growth, recording an average annual increase of 135% in services provided and 125% in clients served. This expansion was supported by a wide geographic presence, with 132 Hubs operating across 25 governorates
The initiative reflects the CBE’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and MSMEs, encouraging the banking sector to expand non-financial and advisory services, and promoting the formalization of informal sector projects. These efforts are aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing inclusive economic empowerment
Youth, entrepreneurs, and MSMEs can access these free-of-charge services at BDS Hubs located in bank branches, youth centers, and universities across most governorates. For more information and Hub locations, visit the official website: https://np.eg/bds-hubs/
