Madinet Masr and Baheya Join Forces to Boost Women’s Healthcare

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Madinet Masr (EGX: MASR.CA) announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Baheya Foundation to support the establishment of a new early detection and breast cancer treatment facility in New Cairo
The agreement marks a significant step in expanding access to healthcare services for Egyptian women, particularly in the area of early detection and free treatment for Breast Cancer. The new facility, located in the Fifth Settlement, will provide specialized and integrated healthcare services to women in New Cairo and surrounding communities
The signing ceremony was attended by Abdallah Sallam, President and CEO of Madinet Masr; Dena Habib, Vice President of Corporate Relations at Madinet Masr; and Mohamed Amara, along with senior leaders from both organizations
Through this multi-year collaboration, Madinet Masr becomes the first real estate developer to support the new Baheya facility as part of its corporate social responsibility and sustainability strategy, “Cultivating Communities.” The initiative aims to increase treatment capacity and expand access to healthcare services for a larger number of beneficiaries
Commenting on the partnership, Abdallah Sallam emphasized that the company’s role extends beyond urban development to supporting initiatives that enhance quality of life and create sustainable community impact. He described the collaboration as a long-term investment in community health and a model for effective partnerships between the private sector and civil society
Officials from Baheya Foundation welcomed the partnership, highlighting its importance in strengthening the foundation’s ability to provide free early detection and treatment services, raise awareness about breast cancer, and reach more women across Egypt
The collaboration reflects growing cooperation between private companies and non-profit organizations to strengthen healthcare services, promote social responsibility, and support Egypt’s broader goals of sustainable development and improved quality of life
