Kaspersky SD-WAN has unveiled new hardware and software enhancements designed to improve network reliability, security, and performance for organizations with geo-distributed locations. The latest updates include new hardware models, advanced troubleshooting tools, improved LTE diagnostics, and expanded Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) scalability

According to Kaspersky research, 40% of companies with multiple sites experience network issues at least twice a month, leading to downtime, operational disruptions, and potential security vulnerabilities. Kaspersky SD-WAN addresses these challenges by offering a fault-tolerant infrastructure that optimizes cloud connectivity, enhances application performance, and enables secure multi-site deployment

Key Updates Include:

New Hardware Models

KESR Model 1-GA: Designed for small and medium businesses, offering reliable performance at an affordable price

KESR Model 2-GL: Balances price and performance for medium to large enterprises seeking optimized network infrastructure

DNS Conditional Forwarder:

Allows DNS requests to be directed to specific servers based on conditions, improving multi-site response times and access to critical services

Routing Protocol Troubleshooting Tools:

Centralized debugging for BGP and OSPF with detailed parameter filters reduces reliance on remote consoles, simplifying issue resolution

Enhanced LTE Diagnostics:

Real-time monitoring of LTE modules, including signal strength, enables proactive network management and swift corrective actions

CPE Scalability and Scheduled Updates:

Supports over 2,000 CPE devices per cluster, with configuration updates scheduled during low-activity periods to minimize downtime
