Why 9 in 10 Companies Are Turning to Outsourced SOC Solutions

KHADAMATY–NEW
Nearly 90% of organizations worldwide prefer outsourced or hybrid models when building their Security Operations Centers (SOC), according to a recent study by Kaspersky, reflecting a growing shift in how companies address increasingly sophisticated cyberthreats
The research revealed that 42% of organizations in Egypt plan to adopt a hybrid SOC model, combining in-house teams with external expertise, while 50% are prepared to fully rely on SOC-as-a-Service (SOCaaS). In contrast, only 8% intend to build and operate a fully in-house SOC
This trend is primarily driven by the need for 24/7 cybersecurity protection, reducing the operational burden on internal security teams, and gaining access to advanced security technologies such as SIEM, XDR, and managed detection and response solutions. Additionally, outsourced SOC models help organizations strengthen regulatory compliance, improve threat response capabilities, and enhance overall business resilience
