Turkish Airlines and Air Montenegro Launch Codeshare Partnership to Boost Connectivity

Turkish Airlines and Air Montenegro have announced a new codeshare partnership aimed at strengthening air travel between Türkiye and Montenegro. Under the agreement, Turkish Airlines will place its flight code on Air Montenegro services between Istanbul and the Montenegrin cities of Tivat and Podgorica
In return, Air Montenegro will feature its flight code on Turkish Airlines’ services, including flights to Dubai and Baku, enabling greater connectivity and seamless travel options for both business and leisure passengers
Bilal Ekşi, CEO of Turkish Airlines, highlighted Istanbul’s strategic role as a global aviation hub and emphasized that the partnership will foster tourism and trade between the two countries. Vukadin Stojanović, CEO of Air Montenegro, noted that the collaboration strengthens Montenegro’s international accessibility, enhances travel flexibility, and supports cultural and economic ties
The codeshare agreement is expected to increase passenger traffic and contribute to sustainable air transport growth between Türkiye and Montenegro
