Foundever Expands Egypt Operations After MCIT, ITIDA Talks

foundever.com has reinforced its long-term commitment to Egypt’s fast-growing digital economy following a high-level strategic meeting with Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Information Technology Industry Development Agency, highlighting the company’s ongoing expansion and investments across the country
The meeting brought together Raafat Hendy, Ahmed Elzaher, senior government officials, and Foundever executives including Benedita Miranda, Vitor Silva, and Mina Wahba
Discussions centered on Egypt’s growing position as a global destination for outsourcing, multilingual customer experience services, AI-enabled operations, and digital innovation, while reinforcing cooperation under the recently signed MoU between Foundever and ITIDA
Foundever announced that its workforce in Egypt has now reached 2,700 employees across Maadi, Nasr City, and Luxor, reflecting the company’s confidence in Egypt’s highly skilled talent pool and expanding offshoring ecosystem

As part of its next growth phase, the company plans to increase its Luxor workforce to 1,000 employees by next quarter and launch a new operational hub in Giza, further strengthening Egypt’s role within Foundever’s global delivery network
During the meeting, Minister Raafat Hendy reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to supporting multinational expansion through investments in digital infrastructure, talent development, and business-friendly policies aimed at driving growth beyond Cairo
Benedita Miranda described Egypt as one of Foundever’s strongest global delivery hubs, citing the country’s multilingual capabilities, customer-centric culture, and strong soft skills as key competitive advantages

The company also highlighted its growing investments in AI and innovation, including its AI Center of Excellence in Barcelona, which includes Egyptian developers contributing to global AI initiatives, alongside the upcoming launch of “AgentTech AI,” Foundever’s proprietary AI-powered platform designed to enhance operational performance and customer engagement
Additionally, Foundever showcased its collaboration with ITIDA on the “Train to Hire” initiative, as well as its Language Academy programs in Cairo and Luxor, which prepare candidates for careers in the outsourcing industry. The company also highlighted its “Freelance Mama” CSR initiative, which has empowered more than 250 mothers through digital and freelance skills training
