LG’s Radio Optimism AI Campaign Generates 700K Songs and Reaches 2.4B Views Globally

LG Electronics (LG) has announced the remarkable success of its AI-driven Radio Optimism campaign, designed to highlight the enduring importance of love, gratitude, and human connection in an increasingly digital age.
Available in six languages, the innovative platform invited users worldwide to write messages for loved ones, choose a music style, and generate personalized AI-composed songs. The campaign inspired more than 700,000 unique tracks, which were shared and listened to over 1.5 million times, underscoring the universal desire to connect meaningfully across cultures.
The initiative also sparked unprecedented digital engagement, amassing 2.4 billion content views and over 30 million social interactions. Global and local influencers helped amplify its reach, including Australian father-daughter duo Ben and Zara, who composed a special birthday track, and Brazilian creator Jessie Shen, who dedicated a heartfelt song to her partner.
Family proved the most frequent theme, with over 30% of songs expressing love, followed by gratitude and encouragement. Unique cultural expressions also emerged, from sports fans composing team anthems to pet owners dedicating songs to their companions.
“Through this campaign, we helped people rediscover values that remain constant even in times of change,” said Kim Hyo-eun, Head of LG’s Brand Management Division. “It resonated deeply with audiences worldwide, reinforcing our Life’s Good brand promise while spreading optimism and connection.”
Beyond its emotional impact, Radio Optimism also reflected LG’s commitment to responsible AI innovation. By training its tools on properly licensed music from original artists, the company ensured creativity was both ethical and inspiring.
The campaign showcases how artificial intelligence can bridge digital interactions with authentic human emotion—transforming technology into a tool for optimism and unity.
